New center for the community

In Büron, Switzerland, a community center called Sagipark was developed for the approximately 2,400 residents. The area along the Weiherbach, where a sawmill used to stand, now forms the village center. The name Sagipark refers to the former location. The project includes five apartment buildings with 54 apartments, an underground parking, a doctor's office, restaurants as well as office and retail space. The aim was to create a new center for the community.

The project was planned and realised by Peter Rölli of Geuensee, with the design concept coming from Scheitlin Syfrig Architects of Lucerne. Energy efficiency was an important factor in the design.

Oak parquet for warmth & cosiness

Matching the former location, 2000 m2 of tilo oak parquet was laid. It brings a sense of warmth and comfort to the simple and classic white apartments. The oiled, easy-care parquet surface is functional and looks wonderfully natural.
