Kaplan Medal:
1998 Franz Schrattenecker was awarded the Victor Kaplan Medal in conjunction with the „Thermoplastic Solid Wood“ patent by the Austrian Patent Owner And Inventor Association. This medal is the highest award which an inventor can receive in Austria.
 

 
 
Thermoplastic Solid Wood - Best Project of FFF-Campaign Wood Research, Sector "Technology":
1998 the project "thermoplastic solid wood components" was awarded as best project of the FFF campaign wood research 96-98, sector technology.
Quality Controlled Planing Works:
2000 tilo was awarded the Austrian Timber Planing Firms Association (the VÖH) seal "Quality Controlled Planing Works". tilo products are subjected to continuous tests by the accredited testing and monitoring institute "Timber Research Austria (Holzforschung Austria)".
 
Austrian State Coat of Arms:
1986 tilo was awarded the Austrian State Coat of Arms for outstanding quality performance.
Building Of The Year:
2000 the tilo central office receives the title building of the year. This title is awarded by the Upper Austrian government for buildings with a special architecture.
Film Award - "Silberner Saturn":
2000 the advertising film of tilo was awarded by the Austrian chamber of commerce with the film award "Silberner Saturn".
State Award for Wood Marketing:
1992 tilo was given the State Award for Wood Marketing.
