Due to the natural oils contained in the linoleum, this flooring changes colour when exposed to sunlight. Depending on the intensity of the sun, the slight yellowness that is present in the beginning, the so-called stove-yellowing, often recedes quickly.
The yellowness disappears and the floor takes on a fresher, stronger colour than before. With light designs, the change in colour is quicker and more noticeable than with dark designs. This is a typical characteristic of linoleum cannot be avoided when used for natural flooring.
